London Organic Soil supply and deliver in South West, South East and South London area.

Specially designed to need less moisture and withstand dry conditions. Xeris turf is the future of lawns
for many UK householders faced with water scarcity and frequent hosepipe bans.
An extra 1 million homes are planned in the South East over the next 10 years, putting massive strains on water stocks. The average rainfall is already half that of the rest of the country and, with the efects of climate change, some regions risk running dry.
With its deep rooting system and ability to grow under a range of conditions, Xeris Turf provides the perfect solution to these challanges.
Environmental change and new legislation is driving the need for more considered water use. reccommendations for decreased water consumption will inevitably lead to landscape plant materials such as turf being questioned for water use.
That's where Xeris Turf comes into its own, delivering lower water consumption in comparison with traditional lawns, without loss of quality.
Mowing
Xeris should be mowed frequently enough so no more than one third of
the height is removed at one time. Spring mowing can be reduced by applying an autumn fertiliser
and not fertilising in early spring.
Watering
Xeris Turf does not need to be watered during the summer to keep it green.
Avoid spring irrigation, as this reduces drought tolerance in the summer and contributes to excessive growth.
During prolonged periods of dry weather the grass may require occasional watering.
Fertilising
The most important time to apply fertiliser is in the autumn. Spring
applications cause excessive growth leading to increased mowing. A slow release fertiliser should be
applied in May so growth is not too fast into summer. Too much top growth can prevent the healthy root
growth needed to tolerate summer stress.
